Very nice friendly service. Even if we had to wait 1 hour for the food, the food made up for it. There were 4 different dishes, each one unique and delicious. I had the venison burger and was very surprised because it was baked myself. The combination here with the cranberries was great. Keep it up, highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

We were there again after the corona shutdown. New staff in the kitchen and in service. Food, such as ham and steak, simply super, fresh salads with good dressing. The new operating crew was quick, friendly and accommodating. We, the whole family have already registered for Christmas.

I have enjoyed many great tasting meals served from their menu or various buffets. Good value, served by friendly staff. I would highly recommend their food!

We have already celebrated many great family celebrations with Mr. Fischer and his team and have never been disappointed. The selection of food is varied, the quality excellent, the service very courteous. The beautiful location of the restaurant with the beautiful beer garden make the visit a very special experience.

I read all 1 star reviews, in all I found my experiences / experiences again. There is nothing else to add except save the visit (spare your nerves).

Very nice atmosphere, very nice and good-humored service. The food from the menu was very delicious and rich, then there is a nice hiking route to the Klütturm on top of the mountain which has rounded off the whole. Again and again we would stop there.

We celebrated our wedding there in November 2018. Very nice delicious food great service. At about 17 o'clock a lady came and told us we have to please see that we leave the fireplace room because here at 18 o'clock still a celebration should take place that was a shock for us. The next surprise expected us then in the settlement and although it was much more charged to people for drinks than actually there were and small children fully billed but previously agreed otherwise. We wanted to talk to the owner but he was not ready for it then he came and told us "yes then I do not deserve anything" An absolute praise to the cooks and friendly condition but the boss himself does not work at all. This restaurant is out of the question for us.

Great location, food and service are very good. The young pig roast is only recommended. To come with a dog is no problem at all ... We will be back.

We waited above average for our food, although the actual noon rush was over, the food was not a highlight taste, the waiters were not friendly but noticeably stressed. This was our third visit and it was always as described. The outdoor area is beautiful and the adjacent playground ideal for children.

Idyllic restaurant in the middle of the forest with a nice beer garden. Specialty is roast ham. Inserts can be ordered separately.

Was invited in the evening for a party and came the next day for lunch during a hiking tour and in both occasions the food (buffet and menu) were delicious, with copious portion. Nicely located in the forest but reachable by car, the place is really busy even "full" espacelly during a sunny weekend. However service was going well, no extra waiting time and all the staff is professional, friendly and polite.

Waited two hours for food, It was full but that must get the kitchen out. Other guests forgot what they ordered. I was already in other full pubs, because it was much faster

2019 The restaurant in the middle of a thick forest upstairs makes a really positive impression. Beef roulade with various toppings is delicious. On a hot day, a cold beer ?. For dessert, I recommend a warm apple pie. Service nice and perfect. A lot of attractions for children.

The location is very nice in the forest. The building radiates solidness. The waiters are all without exception very nice and courteous. We have never had problems. The food is also very good and a recommendation. Always my pleasure.

Ordered 1 hour and 20 minutes ago... still waiting... we started eating hiking snacks from our backpack because nothing is coming... organisation here seems to be Hell.... Update: after 1h30 waiting, and being told we had to wait 20 more minutes, we were 'nicely' escorted out by the 'manager' after of course having to pay for our drinks... Edit: Seriously, question to the Germans: Is it normal to have to wait 1h45 for your food on a sunday lunch? Or does that happen , "by chance", only to the table of foreigners at the back of the room... I can't believe all the positive reviews considering how disrespectfully we were treated...

Issued their own poverty certificate that day. With weeks of preparation to plan a vegan dish, there was no vegan food at all and on request the cook presented everything and prepared a plate of vegetables with salt. Just ridiculous...

Lovely country pub in the woods. Has a huge children's playground next to it and is intersected with a lot of walking paths. Can be reached through walking or car and also has a carpark.
